Hello! I'm Keith Comfort, and I've had the privilege of helping students understand and appreciate biology for more than three decades.

Throughout my career, I have taught AP Biology (for 32 years), Honors/Regents/General Biology (for 30 years), and High School Anatomy and Physiology (for 8 years). One of my greatest strengths as an educator is my ability to simplify complex biological concepts and processes into clear and meaningful lessons that students can truly understand.

Whether you're tackling the challenges of AP Biology, adapting to the demands of the new standards in biology (NYSSLS/NGSS), trying to improve your grades, or simply looking to gain a deeper understanding of biology, I'm here to help. My goal is to assist students in seeing both the "big picture" of biology as well as the intricate details that make it one of the most challenging—and fascinating—subjects to study.

As a tutor, I believe learning should be tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and pace. Every student learns differently, and, over my years in the classroom, I have developed a wide range of teaching strategies to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.
